Gracie, Wurzel and Ian have now all been re-homed. Thank you to everyone that helped with their recovery and vet bills.

We now have the facility for you to pay directly to our vets to reduce our bills. If you would prefer to do this then please call Village Vets on 01763 245059 and ask to make a payment donation for the Luna account. We also have a standing order form on our fundraising page, just £2 per month can help our vets bills. Without your kind donations we wouldn't be able to help these dogs and many of them would have died. Many thanks.

I have just spoken to the vets and the lovely Gracie has gone in to be spayed and to have her eyes looked at. Her eyes have been very sore since she arrived last week, we have been putting ointment in them to try and ease the pain and clear up the infection unfortunately she has got quite bad Entropion in both eyes and they are going to operate on them while she is there today. This has been estimated at £470 just for her eyes. All donations towards her operation will be gratefully received. Every £5 paid into out Paypal account between now and 6 pm on the 30th April 2015 will be put into our prize draw for a weekend in Scotland. I will give an update on Gracie when she comes home.

She is now home and is feeling so much better, her eyes must have been so painful. The vet said that they had completely turned in on themselves and there was no alternative but for her to have surgery. So far she is doing really well and I am hoping she will carry on recovering and healing quickly. We would like to thank all of the generous people that have donated towards her vets bills it is very much appreciated.

Ian needs your help

Please can you help, he is going to need 2 operations to fix his cherry eyes. This poor little guy arrived with us on the 17th September 2014. He was so badly matted around his face that the pound didn't realise that he had 2 badly infected cherry eyes. His vets bills could run to over £1000. If you think you could help then please donate via Paypal to or by cheque made payable to Luna Animal Rescue to 10 Spenser Close, Royston, Herts, SG8 5TB. Thank you

Look at Ian now, eyes all fixed and looking good. Thank you to everyone that helped raise the much needed funds for Ian. He is now looking for a new home.
